Adding comfort to the metal bench is the 3-inch-thick cushion. The sandy-brown cover is made of synthetic woven tweed that repels water and wipes clean, but does not remove for cleaning. Two hook-and-loop tabs on the back attach the cushion to the bench so it won't slide around or blow off in a strong wind. The bench itself measures 45 inches from arm to arm and stands 36 inches high in the back; the cushion measures 41 by 19 inches.
The pattern on the back of the bench consists of an ornamental scrolling vine motif in a dark finish with bronze highlights.
